Includes gentle vinyasa.
Vinyasa is a flowing, continuous, aerobic style of yoga.
Each class will begin with breathwork and mindfulness exercises before moving into a gentle warm up. Yogis will then be guided into a sequence of asanas (poses) that will be built upon to create a longer, flowing sequence of movement. As new postures are introduced, we will pause to explore alignment and technique. Throughout practice, modifications that can be used to ease up or intensify postures will be offered to customize each yogis experience. Each class will end with gentle stretching and a savasana meditation to allow the body to rest.
You will step off your mat feeling energized, light, and joyful.
Postures utilized in class:
Think of this practice as a highly-modifiable blend of gentle vinyasa and yin yoga.
Each practice will begin with a community moment, as we greet our fellow yogis and discuss what our bodies and minds are seeking from practice. Class will continue with breathwork and a gentle warm-up before transitioning into a soothing sequence of movement. Opportunities to check in with the body and mind as well as movement modifications are offered throughout class to ensure each practitioner is moving mindfully and intentionally.
The class will end with gentle stretching and a savasana meditation. You will step off your mat feeling nourished, supported, and peaceful.
Postures utilized in class:
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, gentle, and meditative practice that utilizes postures close to the earth, usually on the belly, back, or seated.
Class will begin with breathwork and intention-setting. Yogis will then be guided through several postures, holding them for several minutes to provide compression of an area to purge stagnant energy and access deeper tissues. When the compression is released, the area is flooded with oxygenated blood as we welcome new energy to the space. We will end with a savasana meditation.
Yin is a deeply soothing, healing, and reflective practice that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and at peace.
Postures utilized in class:
This is a vinyasa-style practice designed to gently wake and warm the body. Each class will begin with breathwork and mindfulness exercises before moving into a gentle sequence. Throughout practice, modifications that can be used to ease up or intensify postures will be offered to customize each yogis experience. Each class will end with a brief cool-down and seated meditation to set the tone for the day.
You will step off your mat feeling energized, light, and joyful.
Postures utilized in class:
Inspired by the classic vinyasa structure, this practice blends traditional yoga asanas (postures) with other strength exercises, utilizing repetition and body-weight. This class allows you to build strength and stamina gradually with low-impact movements. This fusion with yoga allows for unique, interesting, and modifiable exercises to keep your workout from getting stale. You will likely break a sweat and leave feeling tired and all worked out in the best way!
Each week focuses on different muscle groups and/or motions.

This 60-minute class is a blend of vinyasa yoga, modern dance technique, and musicality. Each class will start with a warm-up before moving into some structured movement exploration based in modern dance techniques. The last half of class will focus on creating a sequence of yoga and dance inspired movement to music to create a short piece of "choreography."
All levels of experience in yoga and dance are welcome - whether you're a pro or have never taken either kind of class before! This class is all about moving freely, celebrating the movement and musicality innately within you, and letting go of your inner critic.
Bare feet or jazz/ballet slippers recommended (socks are too slippery and shoes are too grippy!). No mats, props, or mirrors! Just movement and music.
Parents and kids get to explore a creative side to mindfulness! Children 4 years old and up with a parent/adult guardian are invited to come to the studio to create mindfulness-based crafts. Registration for each participant is $8 and includes all supplies (adults can register to make crafts, too!). Parents/guardians who wish to only accompany and assist their child get free registration with a paid child registration.
The crafts will be self/parent-guided stations so you can come and go to as you please. A studio helper or two will be mingling to assist and answer questions as well. The following craft stations will be available:
Doors open for the event at 9:00 am, but you may arrive as you like. To allow for ample clean up time, we will stop taking registrations at 10 am. Any crafts that you don't complete can be taken home in a goodie bag to completed later!
